Buffalo Ultimate League

Where: Jewish Community Center, North Forest Road
When: Mondays 6:30-7:30 January 7th-March 10th
What: Indoor Goaltimate, a modified version of ultimate
How much: $40…a pretty good deal for 10 weeks of indoor

We’ll be playing Goaltimate (which is a modified version of ultimate). You can see details at www.goaltimate.com/goaltimate.htm. Generally, teams try to score by passing the disc through a hoop and catch it in the goal. Players sub on the fly like in hockey. There are a number of subtle rule differences that we’ll go over the first night. It’s a lot of fun. If you enjoy playing ultimate, you should give it a try.

We’re opening up registration now. Being indoor, space is very limited. We’ll be accepting registrations on a rolling basis…first come, first served. To sign yourself up, you need to send a check for $40 (made out to “Buffalo Ultimate”) along with the requested information (see below) about yourself.

This does not guarantee you a spot. Folks that are interested will be put on the wait list. As needed, we’ll pull people off the wait list and onto a team (and deposit your check). Also, if there is sufficient interest, there is the possibility of extending the time or adding another night to get more people involved. If you don’t get off the wait list, we’ll rip up your check. You are welcome to send me an email letting me know of your interest, but your spot on the list won’t be saved until I get your check.
